tony gonzalez-3-831x1024Anthony David Gonzalez, born on the 27th of February, 1976, is an American football tightener who was a part of the National Football League (NFL), for 17 seasons. He is considered one of the best tight ends of all time and is currently the most effective NFL tight end in terms of receiving yards as well as receptions by tight ends. Gonzalez is also ranked third in receptions total. Gonzalez spent his first 12 seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, who were the first team to select him in the round of the 1997 NFL Draft. He was also a member the Atlanta Falcons for five of the final seasons. Gonzalez was retired in 2013, was the analyst of NFL on Prime Video. Before that, he was at CBS Sports, Fox Sports as well as Fox Sports. Gonzalez also received six All-Pros. Gonzalez is known for his stamina and rare Fumbles. He was a regular in 272 games during the regular season and lost only two fumbles on 1,327 touches. Gonzalez was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2019.
