Lindsey Stirling, born September 21st 1986, is an American music producer, singer and dancer. [3][4][5] She presents choreographed violin shows, both live music and other videos on her official YouTube channel. It was started in 2007. Stirling plays a range of genres, such as rock, pop electronic and pop. Stirling's discography contains cover songs , as well as soundtracks for other songs. [7][8] Her video for "Crystallize" that was first released in 2012, was the ninth most popular video on YouTube.[9The singer also took home the response of the year in 2013's YouTube Music Awards with her version of "Radioactive" featuring Pentatonix. Stirling has sold more than 1 million singles around the world as of August 2014. [11] As of September 10 in 2019, her Lindseystomp YouTube channel had exceeded 12 million subscribers and over 3 billion views. (12) Stirling has been named in Forbes magazine's 30 Under 30 In the Music Industry: The Class of 2015. Forbes refers to her as a quarterfinalist on America's Got Talent Season Five in 2010.[13][14She was ranked in the No. 2 spot on the Billboard 200 for her second album Shatter Me in 2014, as well as her 11.5 million subscribers on YouTube.
